We collect information you provide when creating an account (name, email, password hash), payment information processed through Stripe, and website URLs you submit for processing.

We automatically collect usage data including API request logs, crawl job metadata, and search query analytics to improve our service.

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide and maintain our content vectorization service
To process payments and manage your subscription
To send transactional emails (job completions, billing receipts)
To detect and prevent abuse of our platform
To improve our service through anonymized analytics

3. Content Processing

When you submit a website URL, we crawl publicly accessible pages and process the content through our pipeline. This includes sending content snippets to third-party AI APIs (Anthropic Claude) for enrichment. Processed content is stored in vector databases associated with your account.

4. Data Retention

Vectorized content is retained according to your plan:

Free plan: 7 days after last crawl
Growth plan: 30 days after last crawl
Scale plan: 90 days after last crawl

Account data is retained until you delete your account. Audit logs are retained for 1 year.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data with:

Stripe: Payment processing
Anthropic: Content enrichment via Claude API
Resend: Transactional email delivery

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access your personal data via the API or dashboard
Export your data in standard formats (JSON, NDJSON)
Delete your account and all associated data
Opt out of non-essential communications

7. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted passwords (bcrypt), JWT authentication, 2FA support, HTTPS everywhere, security headers, and regular dependency scanning.
